Spring and Fall Bear Hunt Chitek River Outfitting & Wilderness Tours Our Black Bear Hunters have a very high success rate. Our operation is geared for the taking of good black bear. We take one group of three to five hunters per week. We hunt for 4 weeks each year and take from 12 to 15 hunters per year. We have the exclusive rights to over 138,000 acres of Premier Bear Hunting Area for guided hunts. Hunting pressure is low so we can maintain high quality hunt and good success rates. We hunt in the provincial forest and forest fringe farmland. Our hunters hunt out of tree stands over active baits where it is not uncommon to see several bears feeding at one time . Our bears have a variety of color phases ranging from blond to dark chocolate brown and black. Our sighting rate is almost 100% and the bears taken from our area range between 180 and 400 pounds with some being even larger. Accommodations are provided out of a modern camp and a remote camp in our hunting area. Our remote camp is a cabin in the wilderness that is only accessible by four wheel ATV. It is a beautiful spot overlooking a small lake which provides us with northern pike fishing for added entertainment. Camp power is supplied with a generator. There are several small lakes nearby which we visit for fishing. Being in the midst of the wilderness it is not uncommon for wildlife to wander right into camp. Our bear hunting package includes: a 5 day hunt, meals, snacks, full accommodations, guides, transportation during the hunt, and trophy preparation. You are only responsible to bring what weapons you choose to use, a container to transport your bear hide, and your personal items. We require a $ 500.00 deposit to hold your booking date. Our number one priority is to tailor our hunts to fit our customer needs. Our goal is to provide an all around good hunting experience. If you have any questions please contact us.
